[Alpha 1.03] Quality of life change and great launch
Hey gang,
First of all I want to thank everyone who tried Necroflora so far, I'm very happy and impressed with the stats we got so far, over 100 plays everyday the game was live, this really hypes me up to make the best future version of Necroflora I can.
With the first public release some issues and question arose. So version Alpha 1.03 is just packed with small changes to address those.
- Fixed a scenario where version 1.00 would load instead of 1.02 in the web version, that was a strange one
- Modified the tutorial info a bit and added 2 more pages
- You can now move using the mouse, by pushing it at the edge of the screen, bit awkward in the web version
- On the game over screen you can hide the death screen and you can still move the camera to observe you're final plant in all it's beauty
I think that's all for this minor version.
I'm currenctly working on more upgrades and designing the plant attack / class system. Currently your 3 plants (yellow, green, red) all do the same thing, this is just temporary the goal is for the player to build them to have different effects. Think of it has your skills in an rpg, my objective is to allow players to decide for instance, if they want to make a plant that reduces incoming damage, or that shoots big nukes at enemies, or maybe it has a chain lightning kind of attack but that also sleep the enemies it hits, etc...
So a small prototype of that should be coming up in the near future.
Thanks again for reading and playing my game!
Go forth fellow necromancers and defeat these pesky heroes!
